I z MX6.com:Now, dont quote me, but I believe that by disconnecting the purple wire on PIN 14 on the ECU and looping it, tricks the govenor to cycle constant, and no longer reads limitter shut-down. I will have to look back at my notes again, as someone somewhere else discussed this already. I am thinking back now, and I do believe you have to loop ot with another ECU wire, just cant remember exactly
Czyli pomysł jest taki, żeby zrobić sobie przełącznik na kablu z liczników do kompa i przełączać, gdy chcemy przekroczyć 180.take apart the center console so you can view the ECU. find the wiring diagram for your model and year. find the wire coming off the PCM/ECU/ECM labeled "To I/P" in the chilton's manual. mine was green w/ red stripe. this is the wire that goes to the instrument panel and to the back of the speedomoeter. cutting this wire will disable the governor. you will want to put a switch across the wire, since cutting the wire also affects your idle, and will make the car come close to stalling when you slow to a stop. the idle problem will happen EACH TIME THE CUT IS USED (switch thrown to OFF position) and will reamin, until the car has been restarted with the switch in the ON position. putting the switch in the OFF position allows you to reach 115 MPH and beyond. youre done. now be responsible and have fun.
NOTE: clicking the switch OFF and ON multiple times while the car is running WILL NOT hurt anything.
Podobno można też ten kabelek przeciąć:
Dalej w tym samym wątku ludki twierdzą, że jednak nie ma to nic do power windows, seats i locks.there's only one wire that will do if you are doing it from the gauge cluster there are two connectors on the back on the one on the left there's a green wire with a light red stripe this wire sends te speed to the ECU but also is the one that sends the speed to the cruise control unit so if you do this and your SE has cruise control by disableing the spped limiter you will also disable the cuise control, my SE doesn't have cruise control or power locks or power windows or power seats so I don't have to worry and I tested my car after and I was able to reach 120 MPH
