Manual Windows
The front door windows are regulated by two encased cables. The cables are attached from the regulator to a slider bracket. When the regulator handle is operated, the cables move the slider bracket up or down. The slider bracket then moves the window to the desired position. The cables are secured by nylon fasteners inside the door. Lubrication of the cables is not necessary.

Power Windows
The power window system consists of three control switches, one lock switch, and two motor and drive switch assemblies.
The passenger's door armrest contains the up/down control switch for the passenger's door window. The driver's door armrest contains LEFT and RIGHT up/down control switches for both the driver's and passenger's door windows. The driver's window has a "one touch down" feature.
The driver's window will open fully when the switch is firmly pressed and released. The switch will release when the window is fully opened. The window lock switch for the passenger's door is also located on the driver's door armrest.
When the window lock switch is engaged, the passenger's door window may only be controlled by use of the RIGHT control switch located on the driver's door armrest.
The power windows are regulated by two encased cables. The cables connect the electric motor driven regulator to a slider bracket. When the power window switch is operated, the cables move the slider bracket up or down. The slider bracket then moves the window to the desired position. The cables are secured by nylon fasteners inside the door. Lubrication of the cables is not necessary.

- Carefully remove the paper backing from the foam insulator before pressing into place.
- Position the foam insulator between the regulator channel and the center bracket, almost resting on the roller wheel.
- Use a suitable tool to fold the top of the foam insulator down between the glass and the bracket.
- Remove the two bolts holding the lower guide plate. Pull the guide plate down to make installation of the lower foam insulator easier.
- Position the slider bracket and install the lower guide plate bolts, but do not tighten.
- Slide the guide plate forward, toward the front of the door and tighten the two bolts.
- Make sure the rattle has been eliminated by repeating Step 1.
- Raise and lower the glass several times to be sure the foam insulators do not contact or rub the roller, cable, or channel.
- Raise the glass to the closed position.
- Close the door several times to check for proper positioning of the glass to the weatherstrip and blow out clip.
- Adjust as necessary. Refer to the procedure in this section.
- Install the door water shield and door panel.
